Gifts

"Daddy, what did Adam and Eve sound like?"

I don't know.
But, it is believed that mankind possessed
an angelic voice, so pure
that only God could hear them.

"What happened?"

The banishment.

"God must have been so sad to see them go."

He was.
He was heartbroken.
But before their departure,
some say God presented to them
three gifts.

"What were they daddy?"

The first gift was for their nakedness.
He made them clothes to cover their shame.

"What were the other gifts?"

Poetry and
music.

"Why?"

So that God could hear
their voices again.
