When we do not pray in times of stress, we may act in ways that are inconsistent with our love and loyalty to God. We may be driven by emotions rather than wisdom. This mindset often leads us to wrongly attribute our struggles and stress to others, fostering resentment. At the same time, it cultivates grievances against God, deepening our sense of disorientation and severing our connection to our true source of strength and guidance. That's why when we share our struggles through art, poetry, and prayers of all kinds, we often experience God’s peace. His presence comforts us, reorients us, and leads us to wisdom.
